Rinquist Holdings LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates Mudkeep ("the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password.

Billing information: Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID and subscription ID.

Usage data: We collect server logs including IP addresses, browser user agents, and request timestamps for security and operational purposes.

Game content: Files and data you upload or generate within your MUD instance are stored on our servers and in object storage.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, billing notices).
  • To monitor for abuse, security incidents, and service issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your login session. We use Cloudflare for DNS and DDoS protection, which may set its own cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving and does not use cookies or track individuals across sites.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with the following third-party service providers as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Brevo — transactional email delivery
  • Cloudflare — DNS, DDoS protection, and analytics
  • Contabo — server and object storage hosting
  • Sentry — error monitoring

We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion or subscription cancellation, we may retain data for up to 30 days before permanent deletion. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

9. Your Rights
